About me

Over the years I have owned and trained a variety of dogs, all with their own personalities and energies. One of my earliest memories is of playing football with Bonnie, my Yorkshire Terrier, and spending hours running up and down the field with her. I was only 6 or 7 years old. My first agility dog was Bumble, a male border collie, who taught me so much about understanding dogs and how to bring out the very best in them.

Fast forward to about 11 years ago, when I met a lovely lady at a local park who introduced me to a local agility club. There I met Fox Agility owner and dog trainer, Selena Bray . Selena was generous with her knowledge and inspired me to compete in Kennel Club’s dog agility shows up and down the UK. My first agility team consisted of Bumble, a male Border Collie, and Ollie, a male Border Terrier. Two years later Fizz, a female Jack Russell x Kelpie, joined us. We had such a blast and that’s why I’m so passionate about helping you and your pet connect through the world of dog agility.

From this experience came the desire to share my wealth of knowledge and skills, and PinkFox Dog Training was set up over 5 years ago. Completing the well respected Agility First course will mean I’m officially qualified and testament to the years of dog training I have under my belt – I’ve nearly finished.

I believe it’s so important to keep up to date with skills, new training techniques, qualifications and modern thinking in order to teach even more effectively and successfully. Once I’m instructor qualified the plan is to move onto a coaching level in order to mentor the next generation of dog agility trainers (watch this space!)
