"Agility is a game we play with our best friends. At Pinkfox IDA, we make sure the 'game' stays fun for everyone involved."

Held in the scenic Leicestershire countryside, Hose Village hall has been our summer home for the last 3 years. The venue has hard standing parking, toilets and often will have the kitchen open to serve our hungry competitors.

Located on Harby Lane, Hose, Melton Mowbray. LE14 4JR

We run 2 rings in the summer, both of which are fully fenced with temporary netted fencing and gates both on entry and exit. There is a strict 2 metre no dog zone from the fencing to reduce distraction as much as possible for the competing dog.

We have intentional capped the amount of dogs to 80 on the day in order to keep our shows small and less busy unlike most other RKC shows. This allows us to offer you the opportunity to train your dog in the ring if you so choose to. You can take food rewards in to the ring with you as long as it is none crumbly, light in colour and large.

Why compete with us

Supportive environment
Nervous about your first show? Don’t be! At Pinkfox IDA, we’re all about "progress over perfection." We’ve created a relaxed, low-pressure space where the community cheers just as loud for a learning moment as they do for a clear round. It’s the perfect place to turn those pre-run jitters into a wagging tail.

Nursery Grade
I your dog has never been placed at a RKC show then they can join us in our Nursery grade. Among other benefits you can carry a silent toy in your hand! It’s the perfect way to bridge the gap between training and competing while keeping your dog motivated and happy.

Five Heights for Every Hero
From our Mini category to our Large dogs, we have a height for everyone. We truly value longevity and joint health, which is why any dog measuring as "Large" but weighing over 25kg jumps at the Intermediate height. It’s our way of reducing impact and keeping your best friend in the game for longer!

Stress-Free Training in the Ring
At Pinkfox IDA, we believe every run is a chance to learn. We actively encourage Not For Competition (NFC) runs, allowing you to use your ring time as a dedicated training session to build your dog’s confidence.

Testimonials

Dae has had a great deal of trouble, shouting during her completion runs. This wastes lots of time and she loses concentration. Yesterday at Pinkfox (Bee Happy) Independent show she managed to keep her shouting to a few 'discussions' and managed 2 clear rounds which resulted in 1 x 1st Rosettes. Think she is getting the memo .Her distance-handling work is amazing. She can be absolutely stunning. Bee Happy is one of best shows with fenced rings to begin your Agility journey, iron out your problems with helpful non judgmental people and relaxed caring environment. - Andie

Your First Start Line: A Place to Grow, Not Just Compete

We know that the transition from training to a "real" show can feel overwhelming. If you’re feeling those pre-run butterflies, you are in the right place. At Pinkfox IDA, we believe the bond between you and your dog is far more important than a clean run or a podium finish.

Why Nervous Handlers Love Our Shows:
  • A "Judgment-Free" Zone We pride ourselves on being a supportive community. Whether your dog zooms around the ring or decides to sniff every blade of grass, you’ll find a crowd that cheers for your effort, not just your score.
  • Focus on Success Our courses are designed to be flowy and rewarding, helping you and your dog build confidence with every jump.
  • Friendly Faces From our judges to our ring party, everyone is here to ensure you have a positive experience. If you’re unsure where to go or what to do, just ask—we’ve all been beginners once!
  • The Goal? To leave the ring with a wagging tail and a smile on your face. Come as you are, bring your nerves, and leave with a sense of pride.

Train in the Ring (NFC)

We believe the ring should be a place of learning, not just scoring! At Pinkfox IDA, we actively encourage Not For Competition (NFC) runs. This allows you to use your time as a dedicated training session to build your dog’s confidence in a show environment. To make things even more supportive, in our Nursery Grades, you are welcome to run with a silent toy in your hand. Whether you’re rewarding a great contact or just providing a bit of extra motivation, we want you and your dog to feel successful every time you step on the grass.

Testimonials

You're all a lovely bunch, organisers, judges and spectators/competitors🥰 the perfect atmosphere for anyone new to agility. Everyone was so relaxed and chatty, no one was stressing over queues or ring orders. My absolute favourite show/"train away" that Freya has attended so far. - Emily
